Topic: The Faculty Profession
Above class requires permission of Department
This seminar will focus on the faculty profession. We will
explore history of the career, the roles faculty play in
various types of institutions, rewards and advancement
mechanisms, issues of work life across the career span,
demographics of the faculty and current influences shaping
the faculty role in the future.
Class will be held via a combination of synchronous and
asynchronous instruction. Synchronous sessions will not take
place weekly, but when they are scheduled they will be held
on Friday mornings between 9:30 am and 12:15 pm Eastern
Daylight Time.
Above class meets 100% Online through Synchronous
