                 permission of supervising faculty member. Introduction to
                 research methods and scientific investigation in a student's
                 area of concentration. A student is required to complete a
                 written assignment and present an oral report as evidence of
                 each semester's work.  May be repeated for a maximum of 6
                 credit hours.
