TOPIC: "Pilgrimage: Walking the Camino de Santiago"
Regular tuition will be charged for this course + an
additional program fee & travel expenses. The course will
begin in Madrid, Spain immediately after the end of the
Spring semester and will last approximately eight days, with
travel commencing prior to the course, & after the end of the
course. By walking the final 112km of the Camino de Santiago
and discussing medieval writing about pilgrimage, students
will reflect on the place of medieval ideas, art, and culture
in our own world. Participants need to be in good health in
order to complete the walking portions of this course, which
will require walking up to 16 miles a day over sometimes
mountainous terrain. For more information, or to apply to the
