Supported by interesting videos and articles, students will explore Germanys economic strength, its family-run manufacturing companies, its dual system of education and apprenticeships, the unique culture of its people, its recent reunification and influx of refugees, and its leadership within the EU. C271 Germany meets two times weeklyonce with your team and once in class. Our in-class weekly meeting includes lively discussion leading to brief argument papers and team presentations. The Business of Cuba course offers an academic global experience in which students learn about industry and business issues relevant to Cuba. The course will focus on a specific business question/s of the transitioning economic landscape in Cuba. The course is designed to be a research-based, focused, hands-on learning experience. Students will learn about Cubas economy, businesses, history, politics, and culture to approach the central learning question
