Students in the above class should be available for coachings
on Wednesdays and Fridays from 4-6 (except when rehearsals in
X040 ensembles occur). Failure to be available for these
times may result in not being able to find coaches for the
semester.
Above class of MUS-F 550 for all graduate students in School
of Music who are not Jazz or Early Music majors. All such
students will be expected to form chamber music groups in
which all members must register for the BAE section of MUS-F
450, F 550 or X 450 (X 450 registration only through Chamber
Music Coordinator duging group sign-up).
Students must obtain the permission of a faculty coach for
their groups and receive seven coachings. Students must
attend the Chamber Music course meeting held in the first
week of classes to find out important sign-up information.
Chamber Music groups must be signed up through the website at
www.indiana.edu/~chamber. String, woodwind, and piano players
whe are interested in playing with a string chamber group and
who have not found their own group, must sign up for a brief
audition with Professor BAE, MU 116.
